Unfortunately, Inoue never patented his original creation. That’s why a Filipino man under the name of Roberto del Rosario got the opportunity to patent the karaoke machine in 1983. The machine was named as “minus-one” and it used a cassette tapes. During that time, most of our fellowmen travelling to japan called as entertainers patronize the said inventions. Hence, the machine was popularized.
Nowadays, it is evident that karaoke machine plays a big part of our life. People say that it is a good way to distress and we temporarily forgot our problem.
